LathamCares was created to assist both colleagues and individuals affiliated with Latham & Watkins LLP affected by personal hardships, crises and catastrophes beyond their control. Funded by voluntary donations, LathamCares provides grants that offer immediate, short-term financial relief. Additionally, at the discretion of the LathamCares Board, funds may be used to provide assistance to charitable organizations consistent with LathamCares' founding purpose.
We have a long and proud tradition of supporting the communities where we live and work. Giving back is part of our culture, and LathamCares offers us a unique way of helping colleagues and affiliates in need.
LathamCares is a US and UK recognized charity that provides financial assistance to both colleagues and individuals affiliated with Latham & Watkins LLP facing unavoidable, significant hardships as a result of family death, medical emergency, natural disaster or some other unforeseen event.
Contributions can be made to LathamCares by personal check (US-drawn) or wire transfer. Additionally, Latham US staff, associates and counsel may contribute via payroll deduction; and all Latham partners can make contributions via draw deductions.
